This is the top layer of the USPS All-Weather System — the piece you pull on when everything else in the system goes underneath it. Sympatex liner makes it genuinely waterproof and windproof without trapping the moisture you generate on a physical route. It breathes. Most waterproof jackets don't.

Built-in self-storing hood for downpours, double storm flap over the zipper, microfleece-lined handwarmer pockets for when you're working in driving rain and need to pull off gloves quickly. At 31 inches it covers the waistband and top of the pant fully.

What makes it worth the price:

• Sympatex liner — waterproof AND breathable, not just waterproof

• Windproof construction — cuts through real wind, not just breeze

• Built-in self-storing hood — deploys in seconds

• Double storm flap over main zipper

• Microfleece-lined handwarmer pockets

• 31" length for full coverage over pant waistband

• Layers over the fleece jacket liner or heavy insulated liner for system performance

• Regulation USPS postal blue

System note: This shell pairs with the Fleece Jacket Liner (UNI 30857) for rain and cold, or with the Heavy Insulated Liner for the worst conditions. Worn alone it handles rain and wind but won't keep you warm below 45 degrees — it's a shell, not an insulated jacket.

USPS approved. Uniform allowance eligible. The investment piece in the outerwear system.
