The Bulky is what you want when the Regular sweater isn't cutting it. Same PIL-TROL acrylic construction, same full-zip front and crew neck, but noticeably heavier and warmer — the kind of sweater that works as a real insulating mid-layer under the parka shell on a 20-degree January morning, not just a shoulder-season piece.
If you're on a route in Minnesota, upstate New York, Michigan, or anywhere else that gets sustained cold through the winter, and you're trying to decide between the Regular and the Bulky, go Bulky. The Regular is plenty for fall and early spring. The Bulky is for actual winter.
Specs:
• 100% PIL-TROL acrylic, bulky weight — heavier and warmer than the Regular (5200)
• Full-length front zipper, crew neck collar
• Two lower hand pockets
• Embroidered USPS eagle, left chest
• Machine wash cold, lay flat or tumble low — acrylic holds its shape
• Regulation navy blue
Fit: Runs roomy to allow layering over a long sleeve shirt. If you plan to wear it under the parka shell on cold days, your normal size works. If you're wearing it as a standalone outer layer, you can size down.
USPS approved. Uniform allowance eligible.
